Black Saturday
Hello dolls! How’s your vacay so far?
Some of you might be reading this while touring in a different country, or probably relaxing by the beach, or maybe just like us enjoying the feeling of being back home and away from school stress because…. IT’S SUMMER VACATION, Y’ALL!!! :)
Seriously, we can never be thankful that 1st year med is over! So far we’ve been catching up from all those missed siestas. Haha! Kidding aside, now that we have a break from that busy busy life, it’s time to focus more on our blog.
Holy Week for our family is not about relaxing nor going out of town. It has been a tradition of practicing fasting & abstinence, going to Visita Iglesia and Confession. It’s the time of the year of looking back and being grateful to Him. :)
…
They say “black is always in”. Black indeed is a classic color, but how can we veer away from making it too safe?
Sweet Dreams or A Beautiful Nightmare

Hello guys! As you can notice, we won’t let Sunday night go by without a blog post for you :)
So, last August 23, after more than a month of patiently waiting, PRC finally released the list of newly registered nurses, and Demmie is one of them! And so, to all new nurses of RP, congratulations to you guys!
We would also like to congratulate UST College of Nursing for having a passing rate of 99.36%. And btw, UST Nursing got the #1 spot among the top notchers! Go USTe! :)

So the next day, our family went for a lunch out to celebrate. Our best go-to steak house since the time we can’t remember… Alfredo’s!

So basically, Demmie is the first professional in our family. Our ate’s graduating next year from Ateneo law school, and hopefully, she’ll pass the bar exams! On the other hand, Debbie decided to take Med Tech board exams next year, the “Med Tech Year” in med school. Anyhow, this year has been full of turning points in our lives. Good or bad, we are thankful for them :)
In this post, we decided to dress up in characters contrasting one another. Hence, the title :D
Read on for the details :)
Opposites

Opposites. It is the last adjective that will pop into your head to describe twins. It is stereotypical for us to be tagged “everything-alike”. But we tell you, we’ll run out of paper listing our differences. Haha! :D Anyway, every week in Med school gets tougher and tougher. And another dissimilarity that we discovered the past week was our different study techniques. Debbie gets to study better anywhere except in our house, and Demmie is otherwise. You’ll definitely spot Debbie studying in Starbucks every night while Demmie would rather stay home, confined in a quiet place. Yup. That’s how we do. :p
Just like in the way we dress up, we also have our own different tastes. And in this post, we have totally different pegs! :D More of that later. :)

Here’s a throwback picture of us yesterday. We headed straight to Greenbelt 5 to devour on some Korean food! Yes, devour! Because you know, in Med school, we never enjoyed and savored our meals. Everything’s a rush! We would just lend 10 minutes max for eating and spare the rest for studying. How sad. That’s why we made sure to save a day for binging! :)) Bulgogi Bros is one of our favorite “forget-the-carbs” restaurants!
Now, let’s go to our outfits. :)
Casual Chic

Ever had a hard time turning a casual top into something fab? Here are some tips on how to look effortlessly chic with just a simple tank top. :)
1. Start collecting the basics. Once you had a closet full of classic staples, looking stylish will be your cup of tea. And where to buy the basic garments? We suggest Scrunch! :)
